# PyroLife

> A river-plastic initiative that opened in 2026. People who bring an accepted load would be paid in diesel. No machine is sited. No litres-per-kilo yield is published.

PyroLife is not affiliated with The Ocean Cleanup and does not use their tonne figures. A liquid from plastic pyrolysis is not road diesel until a laboratory and an authority accept the batch. Ordinary pyrolysis does not mineralise PFAS. Char from plastic is not certified biochar. Dirty loads and PVC can be refused and then earn no diesel.

The public library cites law and reviews from 2008 through 2026. That span is the record. It is not an operating history.
